Cool 700R4 Transmission to a NP 205 TC

New to this forum. I tried searching for info on adapting a 700R4 transmission to a NP 205 transfer case with no luck. I couldn't even find anything on a 700R4.

What it comes down to is I have a SM465/205 TC combo in a 71 K20 Chevy Flat Bed and I want to put/adapt a 700R4 into the FB.

Wondering if I can use the same adapter from the SM465 to bolt up to the 700R4 or what adapter I need to get.

I've been loooooooking and my brain is mush.

You may see I'm in Arizona. I actually am "from" all over the western states and just ended up in AZ. If it matters both my Parents are from the Panhandle of Texas and I have Kin all over Texas but don't really know any of them. So if I figure it right I'm 1/2 Texan!

Thanks - LBM

Try www.advancedadapters.com expensive but there are few options. I want to do the same but am afraid of the weight of the np205.
