Its the driveway bunny right now. But it has always bounced a lot, so it bounced up those trails at trees like a boss. Its the rock bunny for sure, but my new lower shackle flip and rear suspension it doesn't wrap up bad at all anymore. Does sick burnouts.

i wasnt too happy with the way the 52s worked up front. the bbc sagged em and they front axle couldnt get any further forward. i opted for some 4" lift 47" springs instead. its noticably stiffer, by alot. but what would you expect? still gotta figger shocks and bumpstops.

i went forward two inches or so on the front wheelbase, and went to a 5.5" shackle instead of 4.5".

judging from your third picture it looks like that shackle isnt gonna give you much down travel at all. and then you've got like an inch of up travel before you bottom out your shocks, but then again thats probably what you were talking about when you said "still gotta figure shocks"

Oh, that was in progress. Look at the shackle in the last pic. I moved it to the forward hole, with a longer shackle.

Kind of an inside joke. When i joined a site Matt was on in like 08' i did the same thing but his screen name was 85k5 and the build was "mudd bunny". I lent a hand in putting on the last upgrades.

Got lucky this week and had four days off and still got my OT. Got some good time.in on the tube work. This is a lot of work. I kinda underestimated the complexity. Art got me started with the b hoop and a pillars, then 09z71 came over and knocked out some badass figgerin, they fit like a glove. Still have to mount the pass seat and harness and put in the fuel cell and add fuel. Hope it starts. This ought to get me to trees. Gonna put a few more tubes in after.

NICE tube work. I'm no master at welding but the welds do look more on the cold side.
Your K5 has come along way. reminds be of a guy at work that had one. I think his name was Fabian his Dad was my Grocery Manager. Same looking K5. I think at one time he was selling it for 4K wish I had the Money it sure was sweet. Same Rims on 35" Tires I want to say BFG's.

I welded them plenty hot, I just suck at round stuff. Also was trying out different ways to do it. I have never had to weld in such freaky angles too.
