Jeep +$2500
Parts jeep for springs +$300
Shocks +$40
Tires + $500

SOLD
Axle from parts jeep -$125

Tried to get him inspected and found out he had a bad tie rod. Tried to fix it tonight to find out I have to change out whole drag link. Guess I will do it as I do the lift. Rearranging vehicles in the driveway tomorrow and he goes under the knife.

For now going to leave it stock. Probably weld rear and find a locker for front. If it breaks I may tear down wagoneer and use drive train out of her for him.

Pick up a explorer 8.8 rear out of a junkyard, run about 100 bucks but well worth it with 35s

What a day. Was going to start the lift on Friday. But got anxious and impatient today. Decided I could get rear done today and start on front. Wrong. Been soaking all bolts in wd-40 but the ubolts would not break loose. Took a grinder and cut all four off. The one of the bolts for the spring wouldn't come loose. Out comes grinder again. Finally got him all back together in the rear. Tomorow we start on front after work. Pic to come soon.

Got some done to him today. He is back on his own feet for now. Needs some tweaking and extended brake lines. Took him down block but didn't get far as the lack of brakes kinda worried me. Need to do drop pitman arm as well. Pulled track bar and sway so we will see how that does. I read a few stories about death wobble after pulling them so going to get it buttoned up and take her out probably Monday. Work tomorow then off to Dallas for the weekend to get his new shoes and stop in Abilene for brake lines. Everything I have put on him has come right off of the classified ads here. Ok enough talk here is a pic right as i was buttoning him up.

Finally got him back on the road. He rides alot differently. Definitely more body roll but not unbearable. Still need to cut off sway bar, bolts were froze up on it. Drop pitman arm tomorrow and then we go try to get inspected again. Picked up tires have to do some horse trading for a set of rims that will bolt up and he is done for the time being. 8.8 is in the plans but wedding is taking precedent over that. My fiance has been very understanding and I am not going to push my luck. Fenders are going to have to be trimmed or a body lift done and right now I am leaning towards ing some stuff up. May do body lift down the road but for now he is going to be complacent.

So haven't done alot to the jeep this week. Put on the trimmed fenders today and rolled the tires over to get a rough look on how it is going to look. Fronts are a temp thing until I can find a set of tube fenders cheap. Took off fender flares on rear and realized I have some trimming to do there. Not a full comp cut though because I don't care much for the looks of them. Hope to get tires mounted tomorrow. Here is a mock up to get an idea of how he is going to look.

Took him out wheeling yesterday. I am going to have to build a hand throttle and a bolt behind the throttle pedal to keep my foot out of it. I probably need to learn more crawl and less ok this didn't work lets hit it harder.
