Oh yeh. Also found out my passenger fender was primarily bondo when I rubbed and broke a chunk off. Oh well here I come.

Damn I am going to need a ladder. It lacks about 8" more height for clearance. He is going to be HUGE.

I like the way you name the vehicles. Not all of ours have names, but my wifes black suburban is "Aretha", and her little black jetta is "Inga". My rigs dont stay around long enough to get names.

Just gonna hang out and watch now.

Man time flies. He has been sitting in the shop on his belly with no axles and not much else done. Traded the rocks off for a 60/70 combo. Decided not to four link it and running some bastard springs robbed off of other **** at the shop. Front axle is hung rear should be hung tomorrow. Did some horse trading and ended u with a 258 with an auto and bought a twin sticked 300 to go behind it. Will hopefully have motor and tranny out on Tuesday and start bolting in new stuff. Then all the little ****. Will get some pics once rear gets in. Been busy so having a friend do the fab work because I for one don't have the skills or time. Maybe by summer I can drive him around again and then get the rack built for hunting season.

Traded them for a dodge with dana 60's I then sold to buy the rocks that then I traded for 60's. Had a bad case of indecisiveness for a bit.

Got grill and fenders pulled. All wiring unhooked and ready for motor/tranny to come out. Going with a 4.2 258ci amc carbed engine. I know I know from fi to carb is crazy but I have to get this thing finished and it is what I have to work with. Will eventually do a 4.0 head and fi on it but for now going carb. Ordered poison spyder corners to cover up the bondo and job I did on the rear fenders. Plan is get motor out, finish cleaning up frame from cutting parts off, paint frame and firewall and get new motor in. Once in and running bringing it to house so I can do body work and paint and then get all the little stuff done. Once ready go back to shop and bed line interior and finish cage fab. Then theoretically wheel the piss out of it. Hope to be done juneish but that may be a far fetched dream.

I would consider running propane if you're set on going to a carbed motor

Got motor and tranny out. Pulled motor and trany apart and taking tranny to San Antonio this weekend to deliver it and pick up sbc and th350 from Rebel Customs. Going to clean up frame rails this week and start weeding through wiring to figure out what I need keep to use stock gauges and what I can cut out. Paint frame and firewall and then get motor and tranny in and start reworking cage. Don't like how it looks so redoing back area and finishing up rest. Got Poison Spyder corner gaurs in to fix the job I did. Maybe one day soon I will get to drive down the road in it.

Did you build the cage out of DOM? It's going to suck if you waste that tube.

Got new motor mounts finally. Ordered weld in sbc swap from AA. Got frame cleaned up and painted today and tomorrow I will attempt to get motor in. Have rough idea on where I am going to weld in frame side. Have to find a th350 4x4 to get output shaft and transfer case mount instead of 2wd tail-shaft. Going to just use stock skid-plate to get me close to where I need to be and can do some moving around as needed. Going to be a pain trying to do it alone with jeep outside on one flat tire. Think I will pull all four tires and use jack-stands to get it as close to level as I can to make it all work. Going to be a long day tomorrow I do believe.

Had a bubble on one tire and it blew so need to have it vulcanized or wire it back together and use a big patch to fix it.

Moving from one shop to another and going to lose my fabricator so got to get as much done as I can ASAP. See surgeon next week for shoulder so this may be fun.
