'79 blazer on 4D's

thought i'd post a pic or 2 of my latest contraption. it's been about a year and a half off and on. someone on here might recognize this.. or maybe not.

specs:
350sb, th350, np205, 52's and 56's, d44 and d60ff, 5.89 gears open front spool rear and 40" boggers (i know and don't care.. if i can't keep the front end together i'll swap in a 60) both the tranny and tcase are rebuilt. still need to cut the crap out of the fenders and finish up a few small things but that's pretty much it. should be taking it out to my ranch here in a couple weeks.

I like it - nice welds and steering setup looks very sanitary.

they won't stay pretty after you soak them in mud and bake it on. Trust me.

VERY NICE ...but do you have room to move the bottom tie rod to the top of the knuckel since its himes it should just flip...that would give you alot more clearance

well shakedown run went really went. we ran out to his ranch to do some wheeling.
tires still rub and the carb needs a once over. the open didn't seem to slow it down too much. and i think mark's lookin into hydro assist.

here's some pics of what i did this weekend.

i only have 2 weeks left 'til k-rocks and i need to get this cage finished, build some rock sliders and mount the hydro assist. the cage has about 24hrs in it from saturday and sunday night. it wasn't near as much fun as the guadalupe would have been but hopefully it was worth it.
