there is no secret method man. no one way works for everything. it all depends on the type of weld and the pieces being welded together. i know that sounds like a crappy answer.. guess it's just something i'd have to show you.

well.. here's what's new. front end wasn't gettiner done so i'm rebuilding it. it'll be better all around and much stronger. no mo fkn around..

the axle is gettin' rebuilt with superior shafts, ctm joints and reid racing knuckles. i haven't had a problem with my superior rear shafts so i'm getting the fronts too. also, my steering limits my up travel to about 5.5" so i'm going to try and get my tie rod and ram tighter to the axle and get my 7" back.

Kind of weird. I was looking through this post at the beginning and the old D44 looks very familiar. I am about 99% sure I bought your old 44.




I bought it from a guy in San Antonio.

here's the backside of the dash



and because I like to party..



I thought I was done with the motor swap after the new radiator but then I found it would sling the V-belt off the alternator with the fans and stereo going and lots of throttle. Now it's got 6 rib serpentine pulleys from Billet Specialties.



second battery and sub amp fuse



my biggest problem now is cooler space

couple new things..






Baja Designs XL LED lights. powder coated the bezels to match.


new shifter. just wrapped that up today.
