Really nice!

Between this thread and a recent exchange of parts with a fellow wheeler, I am ditching my Dana 60 & my Dana 70U for Rockwells.

Keep up the good work!

give me a call if you ever wants some custom wheel centers made for those wheels,I can cut you out some blinging design for them. those tire should do real well in the mud,if I was into mudding thats the kind of tire I would look for.

i talked with him today and he says hes going to bolt up the th 350 and 205 this sunday/tomorrow behind his 350 sbc (against his better judgement) instead of the 454 bbc he has for it,he wants to keep his time into the rocks and lift and steering to get it all dialed in,so the sbc 350 will just be his test platform..

well he pretty much said it all. i WILL be installing it tomorrow. the rear rock is complete just waiting for tranny. I have to put the tranny in before axles because it wont fit on my lift with the wide axles. my rear tires and wheels are mounted on the axle ready to be rolled in.

Well, I got the trans/transfer installed. I ran into a few probs but nothing major. Had to drill out a broke off bolt in one of the exhaust manifolds. My stock trans cross-member would not work with the adapter on the transfer case. I had to use one from an 86' pick-up with a 4speed manual. then drill two new holes in the frame. hopefully by next weekend it'll have the rear end with tires installed

They are 49's. I have some 53" michelins but they arent agressive enough. I figured out that with the tires on it wont fit in my garage or carport, so i'm going to borrow some rollers from slideaction so i dont have to build it outside. I plan on getting the front axle complete this weekend. Its going to be close but i think ill have it done by april 20th.

That thing is going to be a freaking BEAST!!!!!! It reminds me of a jeep I seen at the beach last week. Outfitted with rocks on 49's IROKs and a Cummins with an exoskeleton cage. Keep us updated!!!!

Dude, that is one clean *** blazer you are doing that to!
or the pics just make it look good.
should be sweet when it is done!
My personal preference is for the michelins, but I know they won't do in the mud what those tires you got will

My blazer could easily be a mall cruiser with some paint. you should see the interior. its perfect. I didnt want to start out with a rust bucket. I found this one for $2500. I really hate to tear into a clean rust-free body..but i gotta do what i gotta do. Wait till i post up the " Mild fender trimming" pics. that will really piss ya off
54inches, need some spares!? i got four just like em on rockwell rims! The wieght of those things are ridiculous! but with some trimming they will do fine
I got my front end complete but decided to go ahead and flip the hubs...........so by the end of this coming weekend the axles will be under the truck
