Old school Crawler resurrected.

So found a CJ7 for sale on a local board. It has been a couple different colors and sitting for a few years. Specs are propaned Amc360 th400 Dana300 twin sticked and 4to1 kit. Dana 44 F&R chromoly with Detroit lockers. Some of y'all may recognize her as she was originally built and owned by Shain Chapman from Katemcy Rocks. She needs some TLC. Been sitting for a few years. Loaded her on trailer and brought her home for a lot less than I could part her out for. That was original intention but after getting her home and jumping the solenoid she cranked. Hooked up a propane tank off my BBQ pit and tried again. She fired right up. Biggest problem was water leak in timing chain cover. Got that fixed and cleaning up some wiring now. Pink paint has been mostly stripped and new colors will be done asap. Here she is when I first saw her.

Shain built it and wheeled it for an unknown to me amount of time. He sold it and it has passed hands a few times. She was sitting out at a buddy's place in Midland for the last four years. He is cleaning up and offered her for a price I coukdnt pass up. Now having motor problems out of her and trying to figure out what's going on with her. Wiring has been hacked and frame and body have seen better days. Came with an extra frame so planning on getting motor going them wheeling her while I save up money and parts for jaggy build.

Well in a weird turn of events I sold this less than a month after buying it. Wasn't the original plan BUT the yj I started building and traded off for my waggy was offered back and I have a soft spot for that jeep. So she is gone and Hunter is coming back home.

You've been through more jeeps in a few years than I have in a lifetime.

Sad to see it go, would have loved to see it built back up.

I had her out at Canyons for the Dirt Riot race. She worked great except someone didn't put trans skid plate on and took out pan on yota killer. Still same tires she had when Shain sold her. She is going to be kept and built by a fellow West Texas Crawler. So she will be making the rounds again.
