For planning purposes, we wheel Sat., camp out Sat. night, and wheel again Sunday? Also, as I understand it, we just get our rig there at on undisclosed time on Sat. and get assigned a passenger for the day or weekend? Or does that actually happen in the May event and this is simply just a fundraiser? I need to make sure there is nothing in my schedule that can't be moved, but I am in ASAIK.

Richard - do you know if we are there for wheeling and dinner only or will there be other events? Also, is there anything for just day-trip'ers in case someone can only make it for Saturday?
Thanks! J.D.

The fundraiser event for Nov. 1st is only for wheeling and dinner only. We will have a raffle drawing and there is more information on the "upcoming runs" section on that. I know thier daily rate for 4x4 is $25.00.
Thanks, Richard

Richard,
I am planning on coming early and map more trails on the GPS. I have a lot, but most of it is for the 750. Does anybody already have any of the other trails mapped on their GPS? I can use the .GPB files for my Garmin. |

Has anyone contacted Randy or Sean at Katemcy Rocks to see if they would use their last run of the season as a fundraiser? The run at Katemcy is Oct 25th. I am planning on hitting Katemcy on the 25th and am trying to get Big Country Off-Road the club here in Abilene to subsidize my fuel so I can come to the Nov 1st run.

There will have to be some serious interest for a Take a Soldier Fishing event for Marble Falls or Inks Lake or LBJ. I don't want to take away from your event or feel that there might be some competition for sponsorship. I will contact the city counsels and see if they would be willing to support such a large project for that weekend and go from there.

No problem Mike. I have many contact already from Marble Falls Chamber and plan to meet with them in the future. We can go over this at the Nov. 1st run if you would like, or let me know if you need contacts.
