The "roosterfish"

Ok well here goes. Got my junk out of a feild in Venus for cheep. It started as a 83 shorty. Blown 22r w56 on junk 33's. I pulled the 22r and found a sweet deal off craigs. Got a 80 20r with a weber, offy intake, older jackson header, a L43 with top shift case, good radiator, extra steer box the full exh, yada yada all for 400 bucks!!!!!!!!! Oh and got to hear it run before the guy pulled it.

Then got the 44/14b/swampers for even less! Blah blah blah yada yada.
Took it to Hot Springs destoyed the dodge 44 and swapped a 77 chevy 8 lugger in. Done alot of little knick, knack stuff to it along the way. Now some pics.
How it was when I got it.

traded the stock hood for this one.

Part of the bed made.

Rum getting happy with the mocking tape. Behind my old xj on a tow bar!

Cage and 33 boggers.

20r in.

First run our at Bridgeport Park?

Easy way to inspect the bottom!

Rear buggy Suspension. 14 b in also.

Flexing the 44/14 on 38's

chevy ton master cylinder. Made adapter out of 1/2"plate.

On pane!

Antiwrap made used an arora 7/8 Joint.

Original Bed set up.

Winch mounted. May set in further and toss radiator to bed?

Full hydro for twenty Bucks! Bling bling!

Twin sticked and Bulit x member need to finish it.

Thats the short version. More to come later.

Some of the smaller details.

I cut the corners of the cab out to clear the 38's Then capped the corners with1/4 plate.

Some of the dash work. I want to remake it later.

You sure your not compensating for something else with the size of that "boner" bar?
Just making you feel like your at home on TRC.

Yea its a little big......... The stinger that is. It has saved my bacon a couple of times though, talk to Glassman he made all the front cage.

But he did a good job on the cage, it took usforever to make the A pillar bars.
I think there are 6-7 bends on them, I still need to add some to the top of the cage and a windshield V.

Got some more junk done made a tierod. Used arora 3/4x3/4 rod ends, the inner piece is 1 3/16 .25 wall dom the outer is I think 1 5/8-3/16 wall. I used duce ubolt nuts 1" long and plug welded it all together. I should be pretty bomb proof? The allen bolts are military grade.
