This is an old desert racing tip for guys who run baja and stuff. This cut down on the amount of weight that the rig carried. Was in some old book I had about racing baja. How fast is it from 0psi-?psi

Its a compression gage. The tube has a schrader valve in it so it won't suck back in. It's not real fast at idle but that part's adjustable. Looks like Im not the first one to think it up but it was my idea being I hadn't seen one.
O well, it's all part of being self healing out on the trails.

That seems really really useful, but how do you seal where it comes out of the cylinder when you dont want to use it. Might get pretty bad if it starts to leak while the engine is under stress.

Either way seems like a really good idea.

You remove spark plug install the compression gage adapter, when your done you put the spark plug back in. Sorry didn't explain all that.

Well i was surprised how little volume there was. I did pump up a wheel barrel tire in 15 seconds or so. If you needed this you ain't going anywhere anyway. Maybe 2 s for a 40" tire. I figure if ya was in a big hurry 8 or 9 thousand rpm mite speed things up a little.

You could tee into more than one cylinder. I know my International would run on just 4.

I think the low volume is due to the shrader valve. Need to put in some kind of one way valve that doesn't restrict the flow. Maybe a brake power booster valve?

Get a check valve for a regular air compressor. Should be able to make it work with a few plumbing fittings.
