Well the guys at NW Fab did a great job. I got the Black Box today. Thanks to them.
Also got my SYE from JB.
So now all I need is some time Ha Ha.
Looks like with the work load at the shop it will be the week end before I can get started.

Went to the shop at 5:50. Got the SYE installed. Not to bad a job took about 2 hrs. I had some time this afternoon so I trided to mock up the Black Box and was having trouble getting things lined up it wouldn't seat all the way. I was gitting mad. So I had another 241 so I tore it down and took the input out of it to see what was up. This is kinda long but it goes along with service from venders. I Love the Box and they got it to me in record time! However they withheld information! There are two lenghts for a 241 input and I have the longer of the two. They sell a spacer for the longer one, so they knew about it when I ordered my Box. No instructions (a good thing I don't mind going on line to look it saves paper). The online instructions are generic and are for a Dana300. No mention of the 241 problem. Not a note nothing. I was Pi$$ed. I spent 2 hrs tring to figure out the problem. Anyway I did make some progress today.

The Adapter is not designed specifically for the NP241. It is actually made for Dana 300's to clear the input retainer, it just happens to work with any round pattern transfer case. Again i am sorry that i did not know what input you had in your NP241.

The instructions online were done on a Ford NP205 but carry the same basic concepts as any Round Pattern transfer case.

There are also more than 2 length inputs in NP231/NP241.

Look don't want to start a p----ing match here. But if you know so much why don't you use that knowledge when you sell your product? Or send some instructions? Or post up about the differences? Or a note on your web site? Or add a note to the invoice? You didn't mention the spacer or that I may need one because there are more than one length input shafts on a 241 when I bought the Box.
I didn't call on the phone just looking for info. I bought $1,500.00 worth of product from you.

Don't take the post as I was bashing you guys I wasn't.

I do let people know what I learn so they don't have to make the same mistakes.

That's what I think one of the reasons for having a forum, exchange of information.

My problem was lack of knowledge. (Not a good thing).

Withholding knowledge from a customer (Not a good thing).

I was more upset about the time I wasted (2 hrs) when it would of taken you less than 2 min's to tell me something I need to know about installing your product.

Like I said, So far I love the Black Box, the price was good, the quality looks to be second to none, you guys did a heck of a job getting it built and in my hands PDQ. The clocking ring I bought was also of great quality, a good price and delivered PDQ. Again thanks. I'll buy from you again but (I will ask more questions when I do).
