ok dustin, WTF does that mean? tell me how i screwed you over?
to the uninformed here is the deal:
last year before the big canadian river run in february dustin put his 46 willys up for sale. same one i am trying to sell. i offered to trade "lil red" my 87 jeep cherokee for it. we worked a deal where i took the cherokee, an aussie locker and a set of tj axle shafts to him so he could lock it and do away with the 2 piece axle shaft and vacuum disconnect.
he took it to the canadian river and wheeled it. wheeled it hard and had fun. unfortunately; he laid it over on it side slightly and tweaked the a-pillar enough that it broke the windshield and the door won't fit on it anymore. also had a few other scrapes on it but that is the nature of wheeling.
when he got back home he told me he wanted to trade back. i told him no. i thought a buddy was going to buy the willys however, he wanted to do payments and i have learned my lesson on that deal.
dustin keep persisting that he didn't want the cherokee anymore. i think one of the big things was i couldn't find the title. i do have it but told him from the start i didn't know where it was. it was laying on my computer desk before i moved and i haven't found it since i moved. so when td_messer put the fj-60 up for sale, dustin was interested in it. i asked dustin if he would like to have it, he said yes and i worked a trade with tyler. i met tyler in plainview one day and we swapped the tacoma for the fj-60. that weekend i took it to dustin.
then dustin got upset because tyler hadn't sent him the title yet. he told me that i had sold him 2 vehicles without titles. ok, i can see his point on the first; but the second, really? i was basically a middle man trying to facilitate a deal to placate dustin. dustin did get the title to the fj-60 and ended up selling it.
so dustin, again i ask; how did i screw you over? i know you have been unhappy about the deal but i feel i did whatever i could to make it right.
