Mt. Blanca for August anyone???

Hey guys...I'm looking to see if there is any interest in a Blanca run in about 2 weeks or so...I need to look at a calendar and get a confirmed date...it will have to be later in the month though....I damaged my ankle pretty good last Sunday...damaged 2 ligaments and 2 tendons, so I need to give my leg some time to heal before I take on a clutch and a trail..but I'm not going to let that hold me back....

The plan:
Probably leave on a Friday after work...camp at the trail head...drive up the trail Saturday and camp at the top....then come down and drive home on Sunday....

I stepped off my 16ft trailer and had a blow out on my ankle...imagine stepping down with your left foot and your foot rolling over to the top counter clockwise...it was a cute experience, I wanted to throw up and almost passed out...sucks!

You know, Im not even sure on the details of the trail..Ive seen a few Youtube videos and a fewmagazine articles...You'll have to ask rockwellYJ, I know he had a wide rig that went out that way before...I saw a picture of thier rigs with the hikers on the net before I ever met him...I know the trail is nothing like robilios, so its probably not going to be a big challenge by any means...I mainly wanted to go just to go see some mountains and drive a moderate trail....It would be really cool if you guys can make it out there too...

would those dates work for you guys too if you can make it out there? I guess we need CO OHV stickers too?( I just thought about that)...

I have at least one extra sticker. They come in the mail in about 5 days if you have time to plan ahead.

I have some parts and pieces. Also have a ol trk just sitting... Really been looking for a excuse to build something a bit less serious.

I think Ill have to change the weekend to the last week end of august...leave on the 31st, wheel on the 1st , and come home on the 2nd ...

Ill check on the sticker, if not ill buy your extra one from you...

Or...We can all go to the Hidden Falls run that weekend instead...Looks like its about the same distance either way....What do you guys think?
