Drunk idiots

For those of you unfortunate enough to witness the events that took place at the bridge yesterday, I apologize most sincerly. Doug was drunk and I was simply trying to calm him down. After repeated displays by him of "hey everyone look how big and tough I am" to his throwing, kicking and trashtalking of my rig and trailer, he decided the best thing to do was start a fistfight with me. I was able to resist being lured into a potential JAILTIME situation by NOT becoming physical even after he struck me twice in the face and pushed me around several times. This truly was an embarassing and foolish display of too much and a real disreguard for other people's equipment. (namely mine)
Again, I am sorry for what happened and do hope that it will not tarnish the image that we are trying to establish for rock crawling and it's participants in the Canadian River area. Thank you to everyone who decided to attend the run yesterday (the 12th) We will have another run next month to further discuss details about the CRRC club

I think what happened yesterday could/would have happened in any atmosphere given enough & a "situation" to set things off. I think the bridge (and the offroaders at the bridge) have seen a fair share of scuffles.. ...
Dont let a a scratch like that scar the whole idea.

I can say I had a blast, even though my rig didnt last long.Seems like I need some better "bug-spray" ,as Zach put it. I was really happy with how my junk was doing ......
I hope next time I can wheel with everyone longer than 30min.

It was good to meet some new people & put faces with names. Some fine rigs being flogged on this weekend

now I wish I would have been able to make it out there. Hopefully I will have my house closed by the end of the month and I can start spending money again.
