sand blasting in Amarillo

Is there anyone in Amarillo that does good sandblasting? Does anyone have a pot that we could use? I want to send blast my rockwells before we paint them.

I gave Kevin Cody's card. He does soda blasting and is portable. Give him a call, he is Tyler and I's good friend. 806-341-0949 or 806-341-4933

I think everyone in Amarillo is too expensive. You really have to have a LOT of stuff before it's worth while, like a whole frame, cage, and axles. Or a whole car for soda blasting.

The same goes for renting a blaster. Not cost effective unless you need a lot done.

I have a Harbor Freight pressure pot and it's a POS, don't buy one.

If I were you I would get a wire-wheel for an angle grinder and get to work.

Thanks Bill, I was trying to avoid the cost. I will see what I can do.

I can drop it in the hot vat for a day or two....itll be clean n paint free when pulled out.But it'll have to be tore down to the naked.

I have a blast cabinet,but a rockwell axle wont fit....even in pieces.

I just went to Tractor Supply 2 weeks ago and bought a small 90 lb blaster to do a frame I needed done. I figured it mite be the way to go. The blaster was $99.00 and they had 2 bags of blasting media for $7.00 each. It took about 3 hrs to blast the frame and did a good job. It's not like one of the big boys BUT it only cost $120.00 and I still have the blaster!
