Trail Challenges

I suggest that someone challenge someone else to a trail....one on one like a duel....but for money AND bragging rights.....there is some fun to be had and money to be made.....

I would love to pit my ride against ANYONE who thinks that their rig/skills might be better....

..for fun of course..

...and profit...

..There could be records kept and pics/video made that in turn could be posted for everyone to enjoy, and hey, that might bring more challenges forth.....

each person could get together via the web or phone, or even in person to agree on the rules for a given challenge, the trail and date/time....the winner could be determined by any manner of time lapse or distance covered or by simply just being able to complete the trail chosen....flip a coin to see who is first and have at it.....fun, cash AND wheeling..what a great way to settle a friendly dispute or benchracing argument or whatever......it would be neat to see and to participate in as well, like that show on TV, "Pinks" where there are grudge match drag races and the loser has to give up his or her ride....except we would only have to give up the $$$ donated and bragging rights if we lost, not our rigs.....

maybe settle the age old "jeep vs. fullsize" debate......wait, the Jeep came first, didn't it? Yeah, it did....

no,no you are missing the point---the drivers challenge one another....as far as rig build goes, well, it doesn't matter so long as the person being challenged accepts.....if someone challenged me to run a given trail, that person and I would agree on the rules, amount "donated", and of course, the trail, date/time.....this would only be limited by the location accessibilty and if I could realistically make the distance to said trail....it would be hard to justify a challenge that was hundreds of miles away from me for petty amounts of cash/bragging rights.....now say that someone challenged me to run a trail that was a few hundred miles from me, BUT was willing to put up a reasonable sum of cash money(four figures or more)then it becomes more tempting for me to accept......think about it....

keep in mind though, there is no shame in declining to accept for a good reason...the person making the challenge would have to be sure of two things to even hope for an acceptance of the issued challenge..
A:challenge someone you know/sort of know and have a real "beef" with(reason to challenge)
B:set a wager that is worthwhile..don't insult your challengee with a petty bet.....stroke my ego before you try to take my money and pride away..................

LET THE CHALLENGE BEGIN< IF YOU DARE>LET'S GO WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm? sounds interesting. Maybe,
but,
Maybe get TGW involved. The river is known to have just about everything a person needs
to hold a real truck challenge. Even if it is a driver vs driver challenge. I have another rig that is coming along that might be a good truck for this kind of event.

I believe the first 4 wheel drive was a full size and it came out in the 1900's
It was a cargo truck, and I think it was a GMC.

Gorrila the 1 st 4x4s was in that time frame but I don't think it was GMC thiers was done by a aftermarket company for years till they done there on.The 1st everyday person 4x4 was a jeep or Willys I beleive 49 Woody. Not facts just guessing. But I read a good article awhile back about the aftermarket 4x4s and who done them in the 20s maybe 30s I forget were I read it.

Now that sounds fun. Kinda like our own Ultimate Adventure. I have never heard of any of those places, but I am game.
