Suzuki LT230 QuadRunner.

I have a Suzuki LT230 QuadRunner for sale.
I think 1987, no papers.
It is a basket case, but complete.

I used to ride it all the time, loaned it to a friend, and got it back with the magneto cover broken (common problem on these, if the chain gets loose, it jumps and bunches up between the sprocket and case. You can buy a "case saver" to prevent it.)

Any ways, I bought a new magneto cover and decided it would be a good time to rebuild the Quad. It has been dissassembled, the frame has been cleaned and painted, new front A arm bushings installed.
New swing arm bearings are included.

What it will need:
New plastic, the body is brittle and cracks easily, basically junk.
New rings and/or jug. Good time to install a big bore kit. It starts and runs fine but does smoke a little.
New tires, they are pretty bald.
Put back together.

I am selling it because I don't do the Quad thing anymore, my knees can't take it, and don't feel like puting anymore time into reassembly.

The engine is not dissassembled, only the chassis.

Includes a Clymer service manual.

It's a kick start, not electric.

Sorry, no pics. Not much to see but a frame and boxes of parts.
One like this, only White and Blue.

I don't want to part it out. It is a good quad, just needs reassembly and TLC.
PRICE $600, I still have a reciept for $250 in small parts (Bearings, bushings, throttle, etc) that I bought for it, and are included.

I will deliver in Amarillo/Canyon, it's already loaded in my Blazer. Sorry out-of-towners, but I will not attempt to ship this thing as it is.

PM me here, or Email [email protected].

I'll consider is partial trade of a small shotgun (4.10 or 20ga) and some cash.
