Any local outings

Is anyone going on any local outings? I need my offroad fix. I have to break my jeep to give me excuse to upgrade.

At this point not much really Joe. I need shifters, I need to redo my propane as it just isn't running right. I think I am gonna run a carb just to get it running and driving for now though. I am desperate. I need to figure out the driveshafts. I am gonna stick with the 1310s for now I think so I am not sure what I am gonna need from the dana 300 to the 14 bolt and the dana 300 to the front 60 yet. I need to get the 5.38 front gears for the front 60 and the lockright. Need to weld the rear (may weld the front). Most importantly I need to finish the steering. I am going hydro assist but I am not sure if I am going full high steer hydro assist or just crossover. That is all I really need to get going--------------Kyle

Paint is done..........I don't plan to bling up the Jeep. I plan to roll it not take it to a car show haha. I am not doing any motor swap. The 304 is staying. It is plenty for me. Not to mention it runs like a top.

The propane will not stay running. If I hold the button on the mixer ( I think that is what it is as I haven't looked at it in a while) the Jeep will stay running but only while holding the button. I probably will need a new one-----------Kyle

P.S.-----Thanks for the offer Joe........will let you know if we need the help. So far not doing anything to it anytime soon haha

I totally agree with David that Chevy motors are engineered better than the old AMC motors. So David, are you ready to wrench this weekend? I think we will be wrenching at Davids house this weekend and maybe a lil riding too.

but they are running on the trail. Chevy engine are cheaper to build but I dont have a chevy. I use to race my camero with a sbc and did very well. Still dont want one in my jeep.

engineering have nothing to do with it. They are cheaper to build and easier to find. A hemi is engineered better than a chevy engine, just look at top fuel dragsters. I love chevy engines. I grew up wrenching on chevys. I guess we just have to have a chevy vs jeep shootout. I wont even use my spray. If you guys get together to wrench and need some help let me know. I want to play too.
