1990 Jeep GW, Built rig, FW, Tx 5800.obo
I'm selling a mild dd/trail rig that I've owned for a while. Two kids later and its just not getting the use it should be. Yes, Its a wagoneer. I know its mild compared to most but this one wasn't built to crawl but it will. I always treated it with the love and compassion d44's require.
Anyway, here's what it has.
-body, about 6/10 scale, woodgrain is still good, fenders trimmed and edge welded in to fit 35's, a few dents here and there but it adds character
also has rocker guards welded to frame
-tranny, stock, rebuilt in FW, shifts good, 727, with cooler, less than 10k
-engine, 360, rebuilt locally, stock, runs great, also less than 10k
-transfer case, np 229, still working great, shifts to 4h with vacuum switch
-axles have stock shafts,4.88s, front has lockout hubs with loc-rite, rear has detroit
-currently has wagon wheels w/ 12.50/35/15s,with 2 full size spares mounted, one on original wagon slot wheel, complete set of slots with vehicle also, other one mounted on matching wagon wheel, painted dk bronze
-bumpers, front homemade, with warn 9500xi, tow hooks, rear custom built with swing out for full size spare and 2 jerry cans.
-comes with onboard air co2 tank
-AC blows cold, all windows work, rear works on front switch only
-CS144 alternator with 2 spares, running dual ford contour fan continously with stock radiator, original fan and shroud included but fan bolts cut off pulley.
-kenwood stereo w/ h.o. amp and new front speakers, no rear speakers but wires for them are there
- interior is stock, both front seats work, carpet and seats look original.
Paint on hood good, top oxidizing, dark blue
Headliner poor but not hanging but could use some insulation before redoing.
Sunroof works, upper console has outside temp and compass
-after market tach, water temp and oil pressure due to dash ones failing
-inspection is current
I built this rig to drive to the trails but not to be a rockcrawler, however, it does get around pretty well. I just like exploring and going a faster pace than rock crawling. You can imagine with 4.88s and lockers it would do fine and it does. A lot of new parts on this toy and that's all it was, it's no freeway flyer either, never cruised over 65mph.
Oh, lastly, all work to drivetrain except motor and tranny was done by a place called Sunray Engineering in Weatherford, Tx no longer around. They
replaced frame rust around tank, cut fenders, did SOA conversion on front and set all the gears. They used to be a hardcore shop from what I saw.
