2002 Tacoma Crawler
Moved to correct location. So I'm selling my Taco due to lack of time to use. A buddy of mine told me to post it here. It's a 2002 limited with the 3.4 liter V6 just over 80K. 5 speed manual Trans. No power windows. A/C works. No cruise. I had the solid front axle and suspension done at Krawltex in Austin, so it was done correctly. The front axle is a Dana 44 from a Jeep Wagoneer. I put cromoly Yukon axles with a Richmond Lockright locker and 4.56 gears. I also installed a high steer kit build with dodge 1 ton tie rod ends. Front suspension is leafs. Rears leafs are from All Pro Off road. 8.4 rear has an Aussie Locker and 4.56 gears. It has a 10K winch and a 12V guy in cab controller. I rebuilt the winch earlier this year with brand new solenoids, oil and sealed then relocated everything under the hood. I have the cable controller as well. As it sits right now, it's on baldish tires with Allied 16" bead locks. I special ordered them with a huge offset to protect the hubs from rock rash. I also bobbed the bed and installed a spare tire carrier. Spare tire is perfect. There is NO tailgate. It also has a black truck box and a CB. The CB is not hooked up, but has everything you will need. Custom waterproof super hides seat covers made from real tree cordura. If you're looking to get into off roading or just need a lifted ranch rig, this is the Tacoma for you. The 3.4L is an amazing engine and has always been taken care of. I have always used Mobile One oil since I bought it, and was told they previous owner used it too. I never skimped on taking care of the drive train. The body isn't horrible, but it will not buff out. It has dents and scrapes that need more than just some bondo. Drip pan is from my leaky old biohazard of a Ford, not the Toyota.
The not so good:
It really could use some new front springs.
It's missing one of the small crew cab windows, thanks to a tree.
Needs new tires.
The body has rock rash, dents and scrapes.
If you have any questions, please text me and I'll get back with you. Email is also good, especially in the day due to no cell service where I work. Please use only your phone number as the subject line. I'm very motivated to sell. $4500.00 is my asking price, but will entertain offers. I have posted this in the Austin Craigslist, but can not post a link per the rules. It's listed under "by owner". I have pics there, just search "2002 tacoma" and it will pop up.
Thank for looking,
