Clayton and Hot Springs..

Madzooki, Fjcruiserman, and myself were all talking about wanting to go to one of the places at some point in the future. I looked into it, its 600 miles to Clayton and 640 to Hot Springs, not too terrible honestly. You figure katemcy is about 270, trees is probably pretty close to the same, these places are not a ton farther honestly. Maybe we should start thinking about planning something there, just has to be for more than a weekend obviously as we are looking at a full day drive each way.

freak just gettin started
As far as stuff to do I would suggest hot springs. Superlift is an awesome park that can accommodate any type of rig and it's huge. We wheeled it labor day weekend in 2010 and did friday night and all day saturday and sunday and i dont think we hit the same trails twice nor did we find all of them You also have the benefit of the town itself if ya want to go out after wheeling or if the family goes and the other half doesn't want to wheel.
