Going beachin! PINS 10/30

Hey yall,
I'm taking a small group (3-4 trucks so far) down the PINS sunday. Just a day trip to big shell to fish/ hang out, farther if the conditions are right!

Family oriented so anyone is welcome to come! just please have a 4wd or A LOT of courage (and good tow points)

Were meeting at he entrance to the seashore at 9am. Look for my wrinkly green explorer. Planning on being back well before 9pm high tide.

Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
Post or pm and i'll shoot you my # for contact.
Thanks!
dave

Take cans of fix a flat or a good tire plug kit, we had 5 trucks that went last weekend & 4 of the them got flats.

lots of dead fish (hardheads) in the sand...

Update:
We had a blast sunday! 5 trucks made it out there for 9am (mostly family) to find RED TIDE in full effect. So, we took our dogs home and regrouped for 11am. Made big shell/ Mile 30 by 1230ish. smooth sailing in the surf! A little soft stuff around 22-26 but nothing to stop a stock 06 Explorer! Back on pavement by 5pm made a good day,... And I'm happy to report no flats!

We will be going again, I know i will be out there more! From the dunes I can see a calm backside to the island... looks good for camping!!??

MrBigAxe just gettin started
Cool. Glad you did okay in spite of the red tide. Did anyone punch Yarborough Pass at the 15? Last time I was there, I was the only guy with the rocks to try it. I made it, but I don't think hardly any of the other vehicles on the beach that day would have.
