Little stupid stuff stolen in Corpus

alright, i had some stuff stolen from my jeep back in november or december at my apt on airline in corpus. nothing expensive, just some stupid stuff and they broke my dash in the YJ when they tried to steal my pawn shop cheapie radio that i put in after the last one got stolen.

4 white KC stone guards (were about a week old, bummer)
1 d-ring off my bumper, winch cable kept the other from being stolen
1 camo aTm sticker (was loose in console)
2 maltese cross stickers that said "DO IT IN THE DIRT" inside the cross (also loose in console)
other stupid little stuff

i'm not worried about getting the stuff back, i just want to know if anybody has seen the distinctive maltese cross stickers. they were silver, 5" or 6" tall, and they were a thin outline of a maltese cross that said "DO IT IN THE DIRT" in the middle, kind of west coast choppers style i guess. i had these made myself, my own design so if anybody has seen something like this i'd like to know. i waited a few months before posting this so somebody would put these on their truck or jeep thinking the coast was clear. i hate theives, and sadly they were probably people that enjoy our hobby. who else would steal daylighter covers and d-rings? if you see this stuff, know these people are theives. i would appreciate it if you let me know if you've seen the stickers.

like i said, no big deal. the biggest point i want to make is that if you've seen these stickers, they were on a theive's vehicle so watch them if you know them. thanks.

I will let you know if I see anything. Nothing worst than someone stealing another persons stuff. Guaranteed that they put those stickers on something. At least they didn't get much of value. All that trouble to take a few items that aren't even worth much. Corpus sucks for people stealing I lived there for a while, they will take anything.

I doubt he was talking about everyone, I would hate to see you living in Amarillo. You wouldn't be able to contain yourself.

Who you talking to? Hope not me. I was just saying that corpus is bad I lived in CC for just 5 months and was broken into 3 times at three different spots. Not even saying that everyone in CC is a thief just that there is more happening there than other places. If you got a problem with that sorry your so sensitive but the real issue is this guy wants to find out who took his stuff and deal with them.

easy there! no need for anyone to get hostile. it's true, there are theives everywhere. the thing that pissed me off the most was when they broke my dash but that's fixed now. at least they didn't cut the window this time even though the door was unlocked. it's happened before.

i'm not sure if i have any pics of when i had the first stickers on the jeep. the old ones started to peel off so i got new ones and had them waiting in the console. as i said before, i'm not going to rant and rave about stuff of such little value but if you see these decals (which nobody else should have because i came up with the design) just let me know and be leery of the people who have them.

one good thing came out of all this. i started to look for a hardtop and doors and bought some (connected to a wrecked YJ with a 4.0 and a/c!). i just got the motor swap finished sunday but now i need to get the doors painted. anyways, thanks for reading everybody.

Thats because the subdivision you live in is so far off the beaten path that the thieves are to lazy to go that far. If something did come up missing it may be a David's. I was over there Saturday and he has enough parts laying around to build a few rigs. Hope he gets this one finished.
By the way yall should help the guy down the street with the jacked up crew cab Ford. Those front blocks are scary.

Sorry if I hurt your feelings. Maybe I did not choose my words correctly but we are talking about somebody looking for his stolen stuff and given other people warnings about what to look for. And yes "they" will take anything (meaning thieves), loose change, floor mats, pen, light, steering wheel cover, spare tire, even a pad of paper? This I know from experience. Once in an apartment complex, once at the Mall, once at the movies. Calm down this is not about you at all.

Hey it might not have even been someone form CC that stole the items. Might have been an out of towner from somewhere like Bayside.. Sorry Jeff I thought I would stir the pot.
Although it has been a long time since I have seen you and I have never met Bigevil in person( I have had alot of conversations with him) I don't think anyone is really pissed off. It might have just been taken wrong.
By the way Bigevil I heard about your truck that sucks. Big4x4 told me you had most of it back together already. Hope it all turns out.

That ain't no **** about Bayside. Leave something unlocked or too close to the road it will be gone quick. We used to put stuff right by the ditch and watch people pick it up and take it. It didn't matter what it was or if it even worked they would take it.

[QUOTE=Jeepking;30683By the way Bigevil I heard that your truck sucks. Big4x4 told me you had a Cummins ready to tow it home. Let me know if you ever need a tow I own a Cummins too. /QUOTE]

Hit the nail on the head there Chris.

As for CC thieves, they are everywhere, not just Corpus. Bad thing is a Jeep is the easiest target out there (been there done that). How's this one for ya, I bought my new truck last week of May 09, 6 days later we drive to Vegas in it, after 1 night there the keyhole had been punched out. No doubt they were trying to steal the truck (it had paper tags still), you could look inside and see there was nothign inside whatsoever.
