If the $2500.00 bucks is true, that shop owner is an *******. That's outrageous. That's point blank taking advantage of the situation.

I felt terrible last night because I saw this and if I had my truck I would have gone, especially since I have full access to military installations.

I got buried out there one day about ten years ago in my old blazer. got sucked down in a little hole. Took a F350, tahoe and a tundra to get me out..

A winch would've came in real handy that day.

I know for a fact that it is unlawful to charge for towing if someone doesn't have a permit in Texas for towing. So if they was charged that much all they need to is report it and they can get their money back and the guy will get a fine.

i can say this, the guys that were stuck put a post on craigslist offering the $$$ to get the vehicles out. Other than that it is all hearsay, and I do not want to say names unless it was known 100%.
