Anyone South of Ft Worht? Cleburne, or further south?

I live about 30 miles south of Cleburne, and we have some places to wheel down in my area. If there is anyone that would enjoy checking out the Lake Whitney area, let me know!

Cool, Alvarado isn't very far at all! I work in Joshua.

We normally meet in Blum at the Crossroads(river stop gas station), then we go wheel around by the Nolan. After that we went and ate lunch in Lake Side Village(9 miles away from Blum), then went down to a Gravel pit just out side of Lake Side Village(1 mile to be exact), after wheeling in the Pit, we went on a trail ride up the mountain!

Here are the videos from last time as well, kinda crappy quality, but you can tell it was fun

Here are some of the pics from the last time we went out,

At the gravel pit, there is about 1/2 a dozen good hils that are fun to climb

This is my best bud's XJ layed over after trying a hill called the Trench

And then the view from up top the mountain

It isn't BMRA or Katemcy-Rocks by any means, but it is worth a day trip I assure you.

Joshua huh..i work out in burleson. I'd definately like to make the trip, somewhere close ya know. I have to trailer my rig, is there 'safe' parking? Is this land like 360, or no one cares if you wheel it?

Trailering is fine. There has been 2 times now where we had to trailer vehicles. There is a construction company that is closed on the weekends that is less than 100 yards from where we wheel in blum. and when we go to the Gravel pit, we can park the trailers at my house and drive from my house to the gravel pit.

Why isn't your rig set up to go there? We have had complete stock jeeps go with us. I had my old Landy Rover out in Blum completely stock and didn't have a problem. That is what is fun about where we go, it has stuff for everyone. Maybe not enough for the rock buggies, but for heavily modified down to stock, there is tons of fun stuff.

I wouldn't worry too much about COG. Like I said, you can bypass all of the hard stuff and still stay with the group! The only thing I would worry about is the trail up the mountain, it has low lying limbs(not too low, but I doubt a monster truck would fit) and has some moderately tight turns!

And guys that wish they were girls.....

Automatic transmissions are gay.

Flipped up tow mirrors are the sagging pants of the truck world.

It's actually not in the city limits. It's County. And, it'll be mine, we're going to buy a house, it has 5 acres and a decent size barn that will work for a shop in the mean time.
