Repair Center Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Manager to directly manage day-to-day tactical operations and to implement strategic initiatives at NewTek’s repair center. This is a full time position based in San Antonio, TX.


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Demonstrate documentation and communications skills
• Four or more years experience in a repair center service management role
• 2 or more years experience with AV, or related electronics
• Must be expert with Windows-based computing products
• Experience with International service and repair center desired

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Directly supervise the repair center operations and staff to ensure compliance to company standards and initiatives
• Manage process of product repairs to meet turn-around-time objectives
• Manage inventory of service parts
• Distribute service parts to service centers in compliance with company policies
• Monitor inventory of service parts in international service centers
• Manage inventory of B-stock units
• Fulfill sales orders of B-stock units
• Work effectively with other departments to achieve desired results, other departments including engineering, operations, sales, and marketing
• Develop and document workflows, guidelines and standards for department activities
• Maintain fiscal and operational controls including planning and managing departmental budget
• Maintain technical level of department staff to enable service of products
• Participate in staffing, orientation and training activities for department staff.
• Ensure timely reporting of product quality issues recorded repair center activities to engineering and operations groups.
