203 mounted sideways

Anyone mounted their 203 range box 90* from stock with shifter on the bottom side when building their doubler? I'm looking to have a complete flat belly but not sure about having the case up through the floor with my cage seat mounts possibly in the way. So mounting the Chevy 203 sideways towards the drivers side seems like my next solution. Anyone have any real experience with this?

maskale just gettin started
when i have done my doubler research, doing that brought the concern of possible oil leaks out the shifter, something to consider.

Yeah even with my stock 205 there isnt that much room on that side. You can really run the exhaust down the passenger side either since the driveshaft is right there.
