241 tcase

I need some information on this. I am wanting to put a 400 tranny in my rig. The only problem is the one I got is 2wd. I know I need an adapter and an output shaft. I heard I can cut my output shaft down to the right length. Or try to find the right one, but I've been on a dead end road there. Then I have the adapter problem. I thought one for a round 205 would work, but someone told me no. Let me know if there is any way and what I need and a source to find the right parts. Thank you

We went over this. A 1985 and newer 4x4 output shaft. 400/208 or a 400/241 adapter.

The 2wd output in the th400 will work with a figure 8 205 but not the 241 you are wanting. There is not enough meat on it to trim it down. I have the output you need if you're looking.

Bottom row. Second one from the left.

The black trans is the one you want.
