350 intake question

Please forgive my ignorance but I have a question for ya'll.I have a 350 out of a early 90's chevy 1 ton. Can I use the intake that I already have on my 80's 305?

Yes, but you will have to modify the 4 middle holes. The older heads have angled bolt holes on all the bolts; the middle holes in the TBI engines are straight up and down.

Is that something a machine shop can or will do?

You can do it yourself with a drill. You will need to elongate the hole and need a flat spot for the bolt to seat against. I seem to remember an angled washer being made for this purpose, but I couldn't say for sure.
