4L80E Help ??

OK, I have accuired a 4l80E 4x4. I'm going to put it in my Crew Cab 88 Chevy 454/400/205.

I have the ECM from a 99 4L65E and the wire harness as well. Can anyone tell me if I can use this ECM and what is needed to control the 4L80E. I think there maybe too much input needed forthe ECM to control the tranny than I want to deal with.

I know the after market world offers a solution to this, but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck with anything else? Any information is welcome !!!
