Anybody done it, what parts can be used / are needed ?

lower 1st gear, beefed up the tranny and stronger shifts IIRC, there was more but those two stuck out.

there was a thread on some forum that had some of the details in it and I can't find it now.

Thanks man... I'm still searching too...

FWIW, I'm going to do this to my 350.. I'll do a write up.. still wish I could find the article tho.. I seem to remember something about the modulator blocked off and a different servo too

I have a spare th350, 700r4 and 4l60e sitting in the shop. I may pull them all apart and take a look.

I had actually considered jumping up to a 700 in the s10 just for the lower gear, but it would've been too much work to redo everything else to make it fit.

I have heard of racers using the bands and sprag from a 700 in a 350. Talk to tranny shops for more details.

I know in a 700Rcrappy that upgrade to a corvette servo. Why dont you just go TH400 from jump street Kenny??

10-15 lbs more and an inch or two longer....is that gonna kill the deal? Just my opinion. Make sure whatever you do you put a manual valve body in it WITH COMPRESSION BRAKING. I would put a reverse manual valve body in it incase you get in some stick situations you click once to get in reverse to shoot out of there.

yes it does. I want to keep it as light as possible. plus I already have 2 350's I can build.

you be right... I am going with both the reverse manual valve body with compression braking.
