Chevy TBI Help!

Ok, so i finally to the truck out for a drive ( went and got a estimate for my exhaust) and after being on the road for about 10min the check engine light comes on. after i get to the shop and get the estimate done and start home and the same thing. So i get home and pull the codes, first code is 13 and second code is a 68 ( i have never heard of this code and cant find anything on them. The motor is a tbi 350 with a 4l80e trans, I have no experience with the tbi so any help would be great.

If you are looking for an estimate for your exhaust then you should be seeing the code 13. Did you see code 12 also?

Yeah i have a code 12, the problem with the other two is that before i swapped the motor out for a remaned on i didn't have any codes popping up. Also just driving it around the neighborhood it doesn't throw the code only when i get out on the road and keep the rpms up for a little bit. When driving it with the codes showing it doesn't feel like it is driving any different so im not sure. what is the code 13 for? The reason for the exhaust is that to get the truck inspected i have to reinstall the cat that the p.o. removed, but since it didnt do it with the old motor i cant see why it would do it now. Also its a new O2 sensor

Is your O2 sensor close to the exhaust manifold?
IIRC, it is a 1 wire sensor meaning it doesn't have a heater and needs to be in the hottest exhaust.

The tbi is the stock 1991 setup, the O2 sensor is a 1 wire setup. I think the p.o. swapped out the exhaust manifolds and the ones he put on didn't have he bung hold on it so he had one welded into the exhaust pipe. I had to get new manifolds so when i put it all back together i put the O2 back in the manifold and plugged the one in the pipe. that shouldn't have made the difference should it, cuz i didn't have this problem before i swapped the motor.

Don't know, just making sure you have it in the right place.

That list of error codes really helps, now the code 68 makes sense. My when I installed the full serpentine setup the clutch i got with it was bad and mine was a v belt so i am running a bypass pulley for now. now just the code 13, I am going to make sure the O2 connection is good, check my tps and i may move the O2 down to the bung that is in the exhaust pipe to see if it makes a difference.
