Cleaning a fuel tank

Ok so I got a fuel tank with 4-5 years of varnish on the inside, tank is drained and out of truck cause I have to replace pump/sending unit. Question is how do I get they varnish out of tank? Would a couple gallons of b12 chemtool dissolve it?

yj_evolution just gettin started
I recently tried paint thinner that I had picked up at the parts store. I had 7+ year old gas in a tank and it was like tar in the bottom inch or 2. I just let it sit for a few hours with the thinner in it, shook it around, emptied it and repeated until I was out of thinner. Then pressure washed it and it's good to go.
