Clocking xfer case

What is involved in clocking a xfer case? I would like to rotate a D300 1-2" down. Can that be done. I hear about clocking, but the bolty paterns don't seem to lend themselfs to it. Please advise.

If all else fails call advanced adaptors if they don't have what you need they will make it for you.

I know Advance has one. You can get it directly from them or we can get you one. It's been a while since I've seen one for a 300, as I recall it has 4 positions, I'm not sure if one of them will work out for you to clock it down though, the first available hole may put it lower than you like, we'd have to check on that. It may be that the holes are evenly spaced though so it wouldn't matter if you're clocking up or down.

OK, so it can be done. No longer sure if that will be the route on this project, but good to know. Considering chain drive. Have to look and noodle on it more. Many thanks!
