Too bad the feet don't stick out the side. Can you rotate the adapter?

The height is perfect for usin the crossmember that came on the 203. Chop up a factory crossmember and make it fit your frame. You can find that crossmember from 1973-1984 1/2 and 3/4 tons. 4x4 of course.

Or just cut off the ends at 24" and weld on some angle iron or something.

Ok this is really kickin my buttt!!
I cut the factory crossmember to fit my frame and its a no go, im thinking the drive shaft will rub it pretty bad! Its a tight fit in there!

What the inside measurement on the yota frames? On this datsun its 24" in the area where the tcase is.

When I ran the stock 241, I notched the stock cross-member and added a piece of 1/4" plate on the bottom to reinforce it, the HAD CV would nearly rub at ride height.

What if you ran a crossmember that attaches to the back of the transfer case? Similar to this... That way you won't have to worry about the driveshaft hitting anything.

Agreed with this...doesn't look like a whole lot of room to go off the adaptor. Putting it on the tail end would probably allow you to build the x-member higher & that way you can stick a skidplate as close to the t-case as possible...

IMO, there would be too much pressure on the tcase adapter and bolts if the only crossmember was at the rear of the tcase...

Also, seems the rubber bushing would act as a hinge with a single post tcase crossmember.

I like this idea! But like 90k5 said there is alot of weight on them bolts!
I may do this and make anothere one like it to come off the pto cover plate on the side of the case
