Question Dana 300 twin stick question

Guy's,
Sort of new to ya'lls site but come here alot to read ya'lls stuff. Any way i have an 83 CJ7 with a 98 4.0L fuel injected motor mounted to an ax-15 mounted to a dana 300 twin stick. I am going to show my ingnorance here so no laughing. My question is about the twin stick. The left one puts it in high or low range. the right stick puts it into 4L/2wd/4H (this is what the sticker says, i have not had a chance to really get out and play with it yet). The only thing i see that is good about the twin stick is that you can run 2wd in low. Am I correct or do i just not know what i am doing. I have had the jeep for a few months and first time with a twin stick. Thanks for ya'lls help.

Rastus,
Thanks for the reply. I thought the twin stick gave you an ability to run the front tires only. Say like swith from 4L to 2L in rear or 2L in front, if that makes since. So you are going to run the same setup with engine, trans, and transfercase. If you are going to do fuel injection give me call or send a pm. I had a few problems but seem to have it all corrected now.
