Gas Smell? :(

I have a '78 K5 Blazer. Use it as an everyday driver, and an offroad toy. There is this horrible gas smell, ecspecially at high speeds when I let off the gas. What can be done with this?

Might want to check the plugs and clean them up a lil bit...sounds like fuel is not burning all the way in the cylinder and check your wires to see if they are not torn or grounding somewhere other than the plug. Might be an exhaust leak maybe also? Exhaust manifold gasket? Check to see if there are any spots on the valve cover that look burnt or on the motor...it should be noticeable if you do have a broken gasket on the manifolds.
