got clutch?

looking for first hand experiences with different clutches, i have been running centerforce's dual friction for a few years and was thinkning about changing things up a bit, anyone use any other brands? how do they perform? i have never had a problem one with centerforce but there is always room for change.

I have the Centerforce DF in mine. I wish I would have just gone to a 'regular' Centerforce instead. It is great and I have never slipped it, but when it grabs, it GRABS! Makes it hard on some of the tricky obstacles.

My only other experience is with oem stuff.

It's alot better now that we have the hydroclutch issues fixed, but it is still super touchy. With the HP on tap w/ a BB, there is no way I would have the dualforce, you would be launching up the rocks at idle.

Centerforce DF is the only thing ive used. Dealer has never held. And any other aftermarket clutchs are way pricey.

How is your clutch grabing? A problem? Thats what you want. Wants it grabs then you mash on the skinny. Or you need more gearing. So you can have more controll.

It is just hard to feather that clutch, it wants to lock up quick. While this might be desirable in the mud or street/dragstrip, it's just something you have to get used to in the rocks. I could get around this by giving the pedal more throw, but this would just be masking a 'problem'. The Centerforce II is the way to go for the rocks. Oh, I have plenty of gearing, that I can guarantee (310:1 if needed).

AggieTJ2007 will become famous soon enough
Yota guys complain about the centerforce DF grabbing alot too. I have one in th ejeep and I haven't noticed it too much but it is a light clutch pedal.
the hydraulic clutch is real smooth and I have plenty of gear.

The 465 w/ a DF has a reel heavy pedal

has anyone ever tried the old corvette clutches? the three prong style instead of the diaphram. one thing i couldnt stand about my diaphram clutches is when i stand on the gas the clutch liked to hang to the floor untill i let off. i was told the three prong style didnt do that?
