head problems

any know of a good machine shop in san antonio? looks like i have a bad valve so since i gotta pull the head anyways i was thinking of having a valve job done. anybody know how much they generally run? i've never had to have 1 done before

depends on how much damage is done and if there is no crack. But I have had heads done in the range of $100-$600 a pair.

no cracks or anything just a cylinder not firing so i'm guessing leaky headgasket or bad valve so gonna pull the head to fix it. figure i might as well get a valve job done while it's off
