high angle driveline flanges.
Really expected more from the most expensive flange out there. I also waited over a month to get them.
Poor machine work. Shallow splines is my biggest issue. It doesn't fit tight on the output shafts. Wiggles around to much. Whereas, my spicer fits excellent on there. Generally overall displeased with these. ![]() And the spicer below. ![]() Bad bit? Too fast? Rough edges. ![]() ![]() Sending them back. Gonna try somebody else.

I'd call him, I've always had good experiences with HAD and currently run 3 of their flanges.

Same here, all 4 of my flanges were nice. I'd definately call him. Good luck.

Seems like I read a thread where he said he was farming them out and recently picked up a machine that would allow him to do them in house. Anyone else remember that or am I nuts?

Looks like spline might be right but over bored. Both too fast, dull bit.

Sortof curious who these came from and if they will make it right or acknowledge the problem. Always good to know where not to spend our hard earned money.
That looks like the kind of machine work I turned out on my custom hubs; 80 year old lathe, chinese tooling, and a guy who had not run a lathe in about 10 years....naw, mine at least fit tight. ![]()

i dont know anything about cutting splines. but his lathe work looks like as$. broken bit and/or went way too fast and didnt care to go back and correct it. CNC or not, you notice stuff like that real fast.

Didnt notice anything wrong with mine. Fit like a glove and He supplied the nut off the out-put.If anything, I did notice the round rings on the flat surface. I have three of my flanges from HAD and one from NWF. NWF is a nice piece for sure But they dont make the 32 spline flange for the 300 using a Toyota Drive shaft.
viewed the picture i took when I was painting it. Splines look perfect.

LOL...missed that obviously. Maybe he trained someone new in the shop to do machine work and there are some QA problems.
His presentation on the boards would make me think he would make this right...I'd call...would have already called actually.

Had some time today and just called. He didn't hesitate to correct it. Going off what y'all say, this is not a normal product. He's gonna send two replacements to swap em over. These must have slipped through the cracks.

I have never used his products but have met him on the trails around here a few times, really nice guy. If it was Jesse, he is known around here for backing up his products, am glad he is making it right!

jess didnt hesitate to switch out the parts for replacement ones. im sending them back so he can see them in hand.
jess sent two replacement flanges and paid for the return shipment. he was very willing to rush these to work with my time table. no need, but a nice gesture. every business has problems, its how you solve them and develop solutions is what makes or breaks a business. here are the new flanges. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
