Holley Truck Avenger

Any opinions out there on the Holley Truck Avenger???

I have a 302 in a 82 Bronco and it is basically stock except for aluminum manifold. I am looking at the 470 series.

I have one on my truck and so far I really like it. It takes a pretty steep angle to make it stall out. I would say 45 degrees or better, it's only happened twice.

I have a Truck Avenger on my BBC. It has been a good carb. I like it a whole lot better than my old Quadrajet or the Edelbroc i had before. I havnt done alot of off camber wheeling with it,but I have climbed some long, steep & rough sections & It would just keep feeding the BBC.

I would use a TA again ...unless fuel injection was a option.

Ta

I like mine, wish they had the 470 CFM out when i bought mine for the 318 Cubic Inch engine. Mine also does well on steep climbs up to 45 degrees and then it tends to dump raw fuel down the intake runners especially to the back two cyliders on each side of the engine. The off camber is great, never had a problem there. IMHO it is a fine carb for its intended purpose.
