Hydro-Clutch Problems

I have been changing from linkage to a hydro setup on my chevy 4spd. Its been giving me fits from the beginning, but I have seemed to sort through its issues till now.

I simply CAN NOT get the system bled. I have tried pumping out the air,I have tried to 'drip' bleed the thing...I havnt tried one of those vaccume thing-a-ma-jigs....
Im about to pull my hair out,I need to be mobile by the weekend & really have other things I could be tending to.

My linkage never gave me troubles...kinda wish I hadnt messed with the swap at this point.

Hey, make sure that your line and the bleeder are in the correct places on the slave cylinder---the bleeder should be pionting UP and the line should be pointing out the side----when I bled mine, I had a buddy pump the pedal, then hold it down while I cracked the bleeder-observe the flow of fluid and action of the throw out fork-close the bleeder BEFORE the pedal comes up. Repeat untill the slave cylinder actuates the throw out fork and you get a steady stream of fluid out of the bleeder(no bubbles or foam)-CAUTION as the fluid will go every where unless you put a small hose over the tip off the bleeder that is routed into a small jar or something. Remember to keep the master cylinder topped off during the process. It is basically the same as bleeding your brakes. My set up bled very quickly after I got the positions correct on the bleeder and hose.

Also make sure there isnt anything in the resevoir blocking the outlet port. My dad had hell on one of his trucks because the gasket off the brake fluid bottle had fallen into the resevoir. He ended up changing everything out before we finally found the problem. I also ran across a truck in the JY a couple weeks ago that had been converted to a mechanical clutch. Out of curiosity I pulled the cap off the resevoir and there was a piece of the plastic seal from the fluid bottle laying in the bottom.
