Kvfd4266 just gettin started
mystery carb

So i got a 78 blazer with a 305.. the carb needs a rebuild due to the floats sticking all of the time and i'm not even sure its the right carb for the truck.. where should i look on the carb to find the number so i can figure out what i got?

alright... i have a 1983 Rochester Quadrajet... thats about all i can find out... does any one know where i can find a diagram on what hoses go where??? mine is missing just about every other connection...

This should help....also the big one on the front of the carb goes to the canister too.

What are the numbers on the side? I have a list somewhere that should tell what motor its for.

ok so i went through with this and i think the only ones that are hooked up are the distributer, and the PCV valve hoses... theres one incoming for the fuel tank and the other one that spits fuel when the floats are stuck is capped... i'm preety sure that all of the other ones are not hooked up... theres also a nipple down behind the alternator and water pump that was capped but isn't now... anyone have any idea what that is???
