New Rebuild, How to store?

I got a 454 rebuilt about 4 months ago, ran it in the truck for a total of about 5 hours, seen that the one ton running gear wasn't going to hold so I pulled the motor and sold the truck. I got the motor sittin on a tire (since i don' t have a motor stand) in the corner of my shop. I've put antifreeze in it and covered all the exhaust and intake. I was just wondering if there is something else i may do to help ensure it is still ready to roll when i find another truck for it. Do i need to put a little tranny fluid down the spark plug holes or what. Its a pretty hot motor IMO and i don't want to screw it up. Got any advise? Thanks.

Shrink wrap. If you put enough on it, you could submerge the thing.

I would drain the coolant out, but thats just me.

By an engine stand and get it up off the floor. Cool humid air sinks, the higher up you can get it the better.

Don't waste your money on ATF, that's an old wives tale, and you would literally have to fill the entire (about 10 Gallons) engine to reap any benefit.

If you just squirt a little 10w40 in each hole, it eventually seeps past the rings into the crankcase anyways. But do it and turn the engine over at least every month.

If you plan to store it for over 6 months, back off the rocker arms to unload the valvesprings.

OR......you could just sell it, and move on.
