Np203/nv271 doubler???

I'm wanting to do a doubler set up on my truck and like the idea of 2 ratios such as using a nwf black box or klune v underdrive, but the cost is quite high. Figured why not use a 203 doubler kit and instead if using a 205 I could mount a nv271 which I believe is the same planetary that is being used in the crawl boxes, and stands up to the powerstroke and cummins so should be plenty stout. Is there a reason I don't see this setup? All input welcome. Will be going into my 1999 f150 with superduty axles.

And before someone mentions it I have seen the D.D. Box4rocks, and behemouth drivetrain strong boxes but have read way too much bad customer service to feel comfortable ordering one.

Cause a 203 271 is gonna be fawkin long. Otherwise the only thing I can think of is slip yoke.

Well now that the input is doubled, would you now be at the limits of the planetary and start spreading cases?

Running a stock 5.4 has around 350tq so double that with the 203 would be around 700tq. The modded powerstroke or cummins is well over that...... Keep it coming I might be wrong just typing out my thought process.

that tcase is strong as hell. youre probably fine with that motor and an auto trans. dont see any reason at least to not try it. reasons you dont see it is because theyre still really expensive. and most flatbiller doesnt want a 203.
