NP241 output shaft

Will the output shaft from a drivers side drop case swap into a passenger drop case? Any input would be appreciated.

I don't think so. I can't remember why right now, but I'm pretty sure they don't. I know that you can only run a super short shaft on the drivers drop case. The pass drop only allows you to run the short, not super short, shaft. The tail housings also do not interchange.(know that for a fact)

Hope this helps.

i does help. I found another case that is correct. Switching the shaft was my first thought, but I don't have the time to swap shafts anyway.
