Oil Leak

I have a 94 chevy k2500 with a 350 tbi.

I have an oil leak some where. There is oil on the bottom of the oil pan and there is some oil sitting on top of the intake manifold. It doesn't seem to leak while its running but there is always fresh oil on the ground after it sits for awhile. I always check the oil before I start it up but its always ok.

Any ideas or advice would be great

Thanks

check oil drain plug. Lose or maybe the plastic ring around some of them get small cracks. Not sure about your application. Not sure about the intake

A leak from the upper intake can run down the bellhousing and look like a rear main...check your PCV, had one go bad and it would build pressure in the block and leak every where..L

It's a Chevy! Like dogs, they have to mark their territory!

The oil puddle on the intake is caused by failure of the thread sealant on the bolts holding the intake to the head. It's usually the two innermost bolts, nearest the TBI. Remove one bolt at a time, clean the threads, then smear a bit of Permatex Form-a-gasket into the threads. Reinstall the bolt and torque to spec. DON'T overtighten the bolt, the factory intake is aluminum and you can damage it if you get crazy with the wrench.
