oil pressure?

can anyone tell me where to tap into the oil pressure on a 4.3L V6? I have an aftermarket gauge and need to get it hooked up before next weekend.

The engine used to have an external oil filter thing that I have eliminated, this is where the oil pressure gauge line used to be tapped into.

Usually on the back of the intake....driver side. That is where the SBC have them so the 4.3 should be the same.

I'm not sure on the 4.3 but on my 4.1 there's a plug on the timing cover on the passenger side above the filter that I ran the line from.

It's hard to find but I'll see if I can get a pic. It's tucked up under the head if I remember.

I got a pic of mine but checked with the chilton book and saw where Thumper is correct. The newer engines are similar to the V-8s. The book shows it on the driver's side at the back of the engine.
