That old old GM diesel was indeed a 350, but not a small block Chevy 350. It's possible the pistons are the same, then again, wrist pins might be larger on the diesel motor to handle the higher compression.
I wouldn't bet on it working. They aren't the same block.
nah the motor was sitting out in the wether too long. there junk. about the only thing still good is the pistons,cam,block. the rocker arms and pushrods are rusted deep. dont know why.
